Martin Luther King Jr.

I painted my boys' bedroom door with chalkboard paint to give them a place to draw and write.  What I didn't know at the time was that I would start using that door to write inspirational quotes for them to read.  Being that January is a time to celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. and all he accomplished for our nation, my quotes this month are from him.  I wanted to share those quotes today as my own little reminder of how far we have come as a nation of acceptance.

"The time is always right to do what is right".
"Let no man pull you low enough to hate him".
"We must learn to live together as brothers or perish together as fools".

Today I am thankful for those people that are willing to stand up for what they believe in.  To them I say "Thank You".
